Nursing and residential care

Rustington Hall

Quality care, comfort and contentment throughout your later years.

At Rustington Hall we aim to provide residents with a secure, relaxed yet stimulating, and homely environment in which their care, well-being and comfort is of prime importance.

Who we are

Rustington Hall is a Care Quality Commission (CQC) dual-registered Residential Nursing and Care Home, which means that as a residents needs develop from care to nursing to end of life, they can continue to stay here for continuity of care. We can meet a wide range of personal needs for older people, within a supportive environment. We have an outstanding reputation and an excellent CQC regulatory history.

Our Registered Manager works alongside the Clinical Lead to support a team of qualified and experienced nurses and carers. We have above-average ratio of staff to residents which, together with our Activity and Wellbeing Team, are able to ensure we meet all individual needs including emotional, psychological and physical requirements.

Our housekeeping, catering, reception and maintenance teams ensure that non-clinical services are responsive and achieve high standards.

Rustington Hall provides a service that maximises choice and minimises unnecessary routine.

Our rooms

A call-bell system is installed in every room and all communal areas so that residents can obtain responsive assistance at any time.

All rooms are furnished and equipped to high standards and offer en-suites, free-view televisions, internet network, direct dial telephones and modern profiling beds. We have a large variety of different sized character rooms with various outlooks.

We encourage residents to bring in personal furniture and furnishings and our maintenance team will place shelves and pictures to meet preferences.

Our rooms have an impressive attention to detail, such as windows being low enough so someone in bed can still look outside, or when seated in an armchair.

We have six 'state of the art' bathrooms and two wet rooms which have the latest equipment so that bathing or showering is beneficial, safe and comfortable.

Catering

Our trained catering team offer a wide range of choice at breakfast, lunch and supper and wherever possible source high-quality meat, fish and vegetables from local suppliers. All food is freshly cooked in our modern kitchen. All dietary requirements and preferences are catered for and we serve fresh fruit, snacks and beverages throughout the day.

Visitors are welcome at any time and may dine with their loved one for a modest charge. Arrangements can be made for a resident and their guests to dine privately.

Facilities

The home has a large modern lounge, bespoke activities suite and a cosy quiet lounge, which can be used to entertain friends and family in private. We also have a dedicated meditation/prayer room which is available for our staff, residents and relatives to use to facilitate their spiritual and multi-faith needs and requirements.

Our grounds include secluded gardens, two courtyards, terraces, verandas and a beautiful wooden gazebo, where residents can enjoy a walk, fresh air, bird watching or some peace and quiet.

There is a guest suite for the convenience of relatives and friends visiting from a distance. This facility, for which a modest charge is made, is always popular and well-received.

Activities and trips

The main modern lounge hosts an extensive programme of activities and residents and visitors are encouraged to participate. There are regular exercise classes to encourage flexible movement and reminiscence sessions. There is a dedicated activities suite where residents can do puzzles, play games and use the communal computer.

Each month we have a variety of musical and non-musical entertainers, tea parties, bingo, quizzes, film afternoons and numerous other activities. We have regular mini bus trips to local places of interest such as garden centres, cafés, shops, National Trust and Heritage gardens and the seafront.
